I wouldn't speculate. I've seen a disturbing number of people threaten his daughter's life, for example, which is cowardly and despicable. Luna Kwon was not assisting her father with tax evasion at age zero.

Korean law works a little different - in most countries this wouldn't really be much of an issue - honestly, she's lucky he wasn't some crazed psychopath - this could have easily gone bad.
