The Mirror bug left people unable to claim locked UST during much of the depeg and resulted in losses of millions - for the 3 days that UST fluctuated over $0.40, users were helpless, and only got liquidity back when UST was far lower. Aperture users were affected as well. (5/6)
This major bug has gone somewhat under the radar, so I thought I'd talk about it. I'd like to add more analysis, but I honestly don't know if this was a real bug or something more sinister, so I won't comment further. Make of the facts what you will. (6/6)
Lots of funds, around $100 millions in TVL were stuck in Aperture protocol for the same reason, people could not withdraw or do anything with their investment…
Aperture did use Mirror as primary protocol, just pointing out that there were more money stuck then just those directly on Mirror
Funds on @ApertureFinance were totally locked. Not only the short, also the long position and the aUST.
Due to this "bug" all the @ApertureFinance customers loosed all their money.

This is weird. But you say it only affected short farming? I had some borrowing positions on aUST bad things seemed fine. For sure something that needs to be checked deeper. Care to share the governance proposal number?
