There is no law stating the SOS can’t advise the candidate to double check their paperwork to make sure they wrote the correct district. Common courtesy to all involved

State law places requirements on candidates, but gives the SOS no power to enforce. Instead, the power is given to the people to go to court to challenge residency & qualifications.

Did you know candidates file to run in districts they don’t live in and SOS Hobbs says “it’s not their job to verify if they are valid candidates”? Voters throwing away their vote on illegal candidates. This was a 2020 race and it’s still going on today
