Awful. No respectable journalist or media organisation should do business on the terms of this anti-democratic government.

Since 2010, we’ve seen: ▪️cuts & chaos in prisons ▪️the collapse of probation ▪️weakening of counter-terror legislation ▪️loss of 1000s of Police officers Given all of this, it’s surprising the self-styled Party of Law & Order is not getting much sharper media criticism.

We have been known as thick ever since England was dubbed with the euphemism as "a nation of shopkeepers".

Barnier (a class act) will cut Boris's policy to shreds. So much for "getting Brexit done" and taking back control. And who vowed to "fuck business" and make us poorer?

Am I too simple? We start from a point of complete alignment. We adopt a trade agreement which incorporates a divergence calculator for each aspect of trade. This would be on a continuum from no tariff to WTO. UK then autonomously makes informed choices.

Brexiters get real. We are the foreigners now. If we want to trade we have to accept some EU conditions (i.e., take rules). That's the reality. If not, don't trade and get poorer. Suck it up. !!!!!

Now it's over and we lost I wonder if I should quit Twitter. Short abusive soundbites seem to Trump (literally) decent, liberal, rational, tolerant opinion. Overall Twitter appears to benefit populism and nastiness. Am I wrong?

As the first steps towards rejoining the EU, we need to connect with each other even more. We need to make our presence felt right across this platform. So, to that end I am holding a follow back party. 1 follow 2 like 3 reply 4 retweet

Just seen a bottle of British stout (8%) at a local market selling at £6. I can buy equally strong Belgian trappist beer for a quarter the price. If this is reality the UK economy is fucked.

First day of Brexit when we can start negotiating a trade deal as a 3rd country, still pay into the EU budget & follow almost ALL of the rules/regulations of the EU and we haven't left the SM/CU. And we now have ZERO say in any of these rules - hurrah for taking back control!

This cannot be stated too often. If this continues the Labour Party is ringing it's own death knell.
