To date, the EU has been pushing the envelope on tax transparency, but has made a number of big compromises (loopholes) at behest of their tax haven member states
But if passed, Australia will be *the* clear global leader

What's significant here is that any large multinational operating in Austrailia will need to produce a breakdown of income, profits & taxes *across the world*
The new rules don't just apply to large MNCs headquartered in Oz - eg could capture Amazon!
