Actions can be wrong. Emotions are not. Soggy’s actions were very wrong, and using Buddhism to justify them was also very wrong.

Ngak’chang Rinpoche publicly denounced Soggy’s sexual misconduct for 20 years, and got nothing but flak for it. He wrote a satirical poem about him titled “Soggy Alibis.” It’s very funny… Maybe it will be in his upcoming book of poetry, “Ravings of a Mild Mannered Maniac.”
