Thought experiment: Setting aside for the moment any concerns about your loved ones... do you fear the end of experience? Assuming everyone will be fine without you, is it OK with you if you go to sleep tonight and don't wake up? If not, why not? Genuinely curious.

I don't notice any fear arising when the idea is raised. It's only sensible to fear that which can harm you. How can the end of experience possibly harm you? Fear implies fear of something. What is there to fear in nothingness?

Now, does that translate into fearlessness in practice, when death is actually knocking at the door? That I don't know. I'll have to wait to find out.
