Our individual suffering is not separate from the collective suffering. The more of us that work to free ourselves of suffering, the less collective suffering there will be.

I'm only alive for a minuscule amount of time in the grand scheme of things. This body will die someday, and there will still be suffering in the world. If we don't resolve to share our understanding with everyone that we can, then we're just wasting our time here.

Ironically it’s like correctly predicting the end of the world. Being right is an empty reward. Transforming the current moment is where liberation and cessation of suffering is found. This entails letting go of it.

Suffering cannot be removed by the Buddhas. All they can do is point to the medicine. It’s up to us to use the medicine ongoing.
