If you're not a social justice warrior. What is wrong with you?
Because I'd rather have an unequal society than an equal society in which (a minority of) college students are too sensitive.

I'm being facetious, in case it wasn't obvious. Serious question, though: what does social justice mean in this context?
-
I like to think of social justice in the simplest, most intuitive way. What kind of society would I want to live in if I didn't know where I'd end up? John Rawls explained it best:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5-JQ17X6VNg …

Thanks for sharing that. What depresses me is how obvious all of that is. Making the world a better place isn't actually a perplexing logistical problem, once everyone agrees that that's what we want to do. It's simply not in the interest of the rich and those in power to do so.

It seems we're inherently tribal, which isn't surprising since we are but smart monkeys. We'd rather bond with our tribe than follow our integrity. So it's important for those of us who can occasionally pop our heads up out of the tribal funk to guilt-trip the rest into decency.
-
Yes. The hard step is getting people to admit that we are in fact just smart monkeys. There's an incredible level of resistance to that idea. Most social problems arise out of the fantasy that we've transcended nature (or, in some cases, that we were created outside of it).
