so if humans drop their ideologies, suffering will disappear?

It would be a hell of a first step. I would argue that much of the reason we don't seem to give a shit about anyone that isn't us is because we're blinded by our beliefs.

To stop asking what the right thing is to believe, and start asking what is the most useful action to take in each circumstance.

I thought the idea of buddhism is that samsara can’t be fixed. It also sounds like the world in your mind’s eye is a static thing.

A very basic tenet of Buddhism, preK dharma, is to act that for benefit of yourself and others as this will lead to great benefit for yourself and others as well as future generations. How we go from playschool blocks to the staticity of the world amuses me.

PreK dharma? What does that mean?

It means it is a very basic and preliminary teaching that is also often refereed to as a "stock" phrase" in the sutras because it appears so often. What you said about taking the appropriate action in a situation very much reminds me of this.

Ah, thanks for that explanation. Just to clarify, I'm am by no means taking credit for things the Buddha already said 2,500 years ago. I just wish people paid more attention to it, so I'm paraphrasing.

Yeah. I enjoyed what you said. I also wish people paid more attention to very basic things. It is interesting that so many people claim whatever esoteric knowledge they prefer when they do not know the basics.

That was very well put. It's just so much easier to ground oneself in stories than to pay attention to the body and to investigate every experience with equal curiosity and skepticism. (Buddhism in particular is also a story. I'm not so sure whether it's a useful story anymore.)
