Opinion: saying "gg" is NEVER BM. Even from a winner to loser 🤨

Even if it isn't bad manner, it can still be insensitive

Why insensitive? I really don’t get it. Saying GG is the same as shaking hands.

Yes saying GG after any sports match is considered normal everywhere besides HS 🤔

I haven't played a lot of other games, but people in Starcraft and Yugioh rage when the winner says gg.

From the side of the winner, I generally only say it if the loser says it.

Yes that is my point. I totally think it is ok from either side. People getting triggered by this just BM themselves :)

When you stomp your opponent (or get stomped), it's so awkward to say "gg". In some games one of the players has almost no real decissions and it's never a "good game". We should have a alternative text line, like "Have a nice day!". :)

There are so many sayings like this in the world that could be expressed better. But I just think it is a polite way to end the match. Hard to make people switch from the comfort of writing just 2 letters anyway :P

I agree, but the universal rule is it's bm, so now I get angry when my opponent GGs first :/

This has been one of my bigger irritations since getting involved w/ HS. Everyone could take themselves a bit less seriously, wish I could talk to my opponents more without people getting up in arms
