    80s slinky-disco faves Imagination tended to tour in December. I corralled friends to join me at Hammersmith Odeon one Boxing Day. A live show that rivalled AC/DC but with much more gold lamé and a yellow-brick-road-meets-piano-keyboard stage set. Literally camp as Christmas.

    UPDATE: We are now on 3rd night of epic Monopoly game. Daughter has landed on Free Parking and won £12400 (with a little help from house rules and quantitative easing). I fear imminent demise.

    I was so convinced it was not my mistake, that I spent 20 mins on the phone to a lovely lady at trying to persuade her that the episodes were mislabelled on their EPG. I am still profoundly embarrassed and rather confused.

    1/2 When and I watched season 1, we found the somewhat confusing timeline especially confusing because (it turns out) we watched episode 3 first then worked our way backwards.

    I certainly succeeded on the slow-burn, but failed to hit that big target of 250 by the intended deadline. Any suggestions ?

    Having reached 100 followers, new target is 250 by end of 2019. Important to maintain the slow-burn word-of-mouth aesthetic here.

    Feel duty bound to reward today's flurry of new followers with a bonus fact. In these uncertain times, and I have returned to the box set and it has been just the comfort we need. RFDS and the NHS=the world's finest institutions 🙏😍

    Recently completed all 153 episodes of the wonderful . We now plan to start re-watching around 240 episodes of in order to share the love with child #3.

    Day 5, I start to feel a bit sorry for him that the good people of Picadilly are not aware of who he is, so I decide to go and say Hello and tell him how much we enjoyed both In The Heights and Hamilton. He was chatty and gracious and we chatted about .

    Again, nobody else seems to know who he is, but I don't like to hassle the poor man, so on I go to work. Day 3, same again. and Day 4. Make a mental note that we really should book again so we see him in the show.

    I leave him to get on with his morning. Next day ... same again. As I pass the Criterion, up pulls the posh motor, out gets . I figure that in dreamland, has transferred to the Criterion and he's now playing the title role.

    Strangely specific dream at 6am yesterday. While walking to work, I pass the Criterion at Piccadilly Circus. Very posh car pulls up, possibly a Rolls. gets out wearing a trench-coat. Nobody else seems to recognise him and it seems a bit intrusive to bother him.
