Let's start by changing the way we communicate on Facebook. Give us a "dislike" button, so we can "dislike" something without being "angry" about it. Make Facebook a more positive place. #DislikeIsBetterThanAngerpic.twitter.com/njYjOZJmHl

THIS! Toxic content floats up bc even a negative comment gives visibility & virality. Human psyche pursues the path of gratification. If toxicity pays behavior will adapt. I know it’s bad for business, but this will end in self destruction of democracy and civility.

Yes the internet needs new rules. No, the social media site that's content moderation process has been proven to favour and protect cishet white men above all else should not be the entity to make those rules.https://www.wired.com/story/facebook-hate-speech-moderation/ …

Starting with you can’t use people’s data unless they specifically opt in. No Lon T&Cs, just a one line statement so it’s simple for people to indicate yes or no. In addition all data related to deactivated accounts deleted within 24 hours and removed from archives.

"Regulate the internet" advice is always best given by a company that stores its users passwords in plain text while selling their 2fa recovery SMS #'s to advertisers.

Face book provides all the details of the common public to all hackers and criminals to view most of the details it is very unfortunate that there is no security. If this continues many other countries will certainly think of blocking it followed by China
