"This broad brush criticism that the president is somehow undermining our democracy, I always wonder like, what exactly are we talking about?" tells cbsn.ws/2PBKVYg
Conversation
This was an irritating aspect of a what was otherwise good conversation. The answer to was was easy: "The press is the enemy of the people." Not style. A claim. A claim to fact. And false and corrosive to democracy. Period.

A) The Media (not the ‘Press’ because that’s the means of publication, not a group of people) continually seeks to undermine our society. Like an enemy would.
B) Acknowledging that fact is beneficial to our society. In fact, the media’s lies are what’s corrosive to our Republic.

The only way Trump wins on undermining our DEMOCARCY is if we, meaning the American voters, stop fighting for DEMOCARCY, by checking Trump on it through voting and other ways. So at the end of the day, Trump can try, try, try but he will not succeed.

And the rest of the panel gave him some very good answers, but the tweet does not reflect all they said in response. Do better CBS! You’re losing me....

Crenshaw needs some training as he is totally out of his league when it comes to answering press inquiries.

Great sarcasm! Many won't get it since he crushed the four clueless leftists who had nothing but empty accusation and emptier rhetoric.

Do we have to give a pass because he’s a veteran? His defense of Trump was ridiculous and very partisan.

Crenshaw was great and willing to get into the weeds on issues and the details of partisan talking points meanings. He wanted a discussion. The others had their fixed talking points down. Would be nice to see Congressmen use their brains and not cue cards. Maybe we can progress
