    Fledging day! The ICARUS computer system on the ISS was just switched on. All looks good so far. However, the cooling fans draw too much current, so need to be checked by cosmonauts. Regular troubleshooting as expected. We are in testing mode now, finally!

    The French Austral Lands and Seas were named a new UNESCO World Heritage site. They include the Crozet Archipelago, the Kerguelen Islands, Saint-Paul and Amsterdam Islands and 60 small sub-Antarctic islands in the middle of the southern Indian Ocean.
