    Troopers Stephen Devine, Richard Conover, Casey Jones, Crystal Williams, and Danyen Komorek from Jacksonville recently partnered with the Nassau County Sheriff’s Office for the “Shop with a Cop” charity event, which provided Christmas presents to over 330 kids.

    The seven disaster recovery centers currently operating in Florida following Hurricane Michael will be closing for Christmas. All centers will close Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. and will re-open Dec. 26 at 9 a.m. local time.

    Florida’s high school graduation rate reached a 15-year high according to data released by the FL Dept. of Education. For the 2017-18 school year, statewide graduation rate rose to 86.1%, an increase of 3.8 percentage points over last year.
