I'm thankful for the competition this environment provides and how therapeutic fighting games really can be as long as you keep your head on straight. I've never felt more at home than in the middle of a set and that says a lot for how amazing this genre is.

I'm thankful for all the street fighter and smash players that have branched out to.other fighting games in the last 4 years.

I'm thankful for fake blockstrings, low profile pokes and invincible reversals. I'm also thankful for everyone who's a good sport on fightcade and for the growing inclusiveness in the FGC. as toxic as gaming communities can be, the FGC has been a place where I feel at home.

I'm thankful for @TheCaveFairfax and all those involved for welcoming me into the FGC/Tekken community there. I'm thankful for Tekken 7 and Harada because I was granted with a character & game I love so much and will never stop playing for as long as they exist in Josie.

I'm thankful for the support of local communities and the practice of keeping old games alive.

I'm thankful for the local friends and community who are willing to stick through thick and thin, wins and losses, and everything else to bring each other's game and skills up.
