Why because, the media doesn't automatically parrot nune's and trump's extremest lies? Because the media is a fact based entity? (although our friends at fox certainly fall outside this notion)

I would say the media is getting better. They gave Trump a HUGE pass in 2016 regarding calling him out on blatant lies. They still interview known for lying. Look at the way they covered the “Bowling Green Massacre”. Total lie but Conway still gets interviewed!
