Overtime At California’s Prisons Swelled To Almost Half A Billion Dollars Last Year. I don't like labels! This "con" language really? Please. Don't judge everyone with a broad brush. People can change, redemption is possible.

True. "Con" is also present tense. My mistakes are all in my rearview mirror.

Your debt to society: 1. Fair compensation for your victims. 2. Repayment to taxpayers for all monies they were forced to pay for you. 3. Patriotic duties and contributions to society to offset the costs of birthing, raising, educating, feeding, protecting and maintaining you.

I've served almost 20 years in prison for a crime I didn't commit, but guilt or innocence aside, we work up to 18 hours/day, 7 days a week, for no pay. At least 55% of everything we do make elsewhere goes towards our restitution and we've done prison time. What more do you want?
