Are you buying with a debit card?
-
-
-
I'm guessing so. You paid the transaction fees that Coinbase pays to do a debit card transaction. If you do an ACH, there is no such fee.
-
That was for bank transfer, debit fee was less I believe. Just a funny scenario imo, wasn't trying to raise a rallying cry lol.
-
Odd. The fee for me to buy 600 USDC with debit is $21 and $0 with ACH. I'm just trying to figure out why you were charged differently. Outside the US?
-
Inside US maybe it's associated with what my bank charges Coinbase?
-
Did they charge you an international fee transaction?
-
I didn't complete the transaction was just checking it out. Was in the US and was a transfer from bank acct.
-
$0 fee for ACH for me too...

Is USDC required to purchase BTC in lieu of USD?
-
No not required, and fees were lower with debit payment vs bank transfer payment. Just thought it was pretty funny!
