You can be sued for violating a ToS if it can be proven that your actions were harmful to the company or product. Like say DDoSing a server..

"Generally legally binding" is the start of the next line, but no worries if you didn't get that far. If the terms of service were just about account terminations / punishments, then why are they so long you need to scroll through them ? Think critically sometime, it's fun!
