Every power he has, is subject to his duty to faithfully execute the laws and serve his oath. Now it is true that the SCOTUS would give the Office of the President wide latitude about where the 4 corners, as they said, stop but theoretically it’s not absolute power.

There are no laws governing what information must be classified or what information the president can or cannot declassify. It’s all done by executive order.

The President has the right to find ways to let the Russian government that helped him get elected find things out about American surveillance capabilities. Trump looks out for his supporters.
