Stacy Parker Le Melle, as a black woman who's been viewing Latinos on tv for many years now (very few ever receive 'lead roles' even now, don't believe me check out Telemundo, Univision, & the other Spanish networks 4 yourself), I'm still wondering 'when will it be time 4 them'?

Ai ai ai. I agree, Arturo. My mother might have defended him the same way if he were Cuban.

They're friends so I would expect Rita to say what she said. My question is, who thought it was a good idea to ask her? And why? I feel like this was done to stir up more controversy. White supremacy loves nothing more than to watch non-white people fight amongst themselves.

It's only going to get worse if people keep doubling down with this same type of rhetoric. It's so shameful.

So what’s the desired answer? Throw the film in the can and refuse to watch it? Watch it but don’t enjoy it? Please let me know, before I turn it on and maybe just enjoy it as art, God forbid.

NYCMACA, the 'desired answer' IS 2 give the same opportunities 2 the darker skinned Latinos, that you do 2 the lighter ones. Give them the chance 2 prove they CAN DO the work like their lighter brothers & sisters, 2 end what others put in place from the beginning.

Wow, an accomplished guy who is Puerto Rican now MUST represent everyone, all the time with the same heritage? Write your own musical.
