Upwards of 60,000 jobs between US and Alberta. And at least on our side of the border they were union jobs. Also, decent paying jobs. In terms of the environment, you should do some homework and see what is happening in Alberta and how clean their processes are.

Wouldn't the environment benefit more from getting oil locally than getting it from the Middle East and then having ship after ship after ship bring it over the Atlantic?
