Magikarp are orange why are people saying they're red?

The Pokedex doesn't have an Orange category, so they shove all the orange Pokemon into Red, like Solrock and Tepig foh

if we’re being technical, red-orange itself is a color, but people were not satisfied with that. The color code is
#E25941, i see red and orange, but with the white, pink and yellow it makes the red/orange contrast oddly
