I actually disagree. If you or I mained bayo for a year while remaining at our current skill level, we wouldn’t get PR. It’s safe to assume that this remains the case at top level, most likely to a more extreme extent because of the higher skill of the average player.
You cant say thats the case for top level play, because top players have much better knowledge of the game than we do. We sure as shit wouldnt be pr’d, but there have been players that werent on the pgr, then next season theyre top 20.
Sure, but that isn’t just bayo. Sure there are more bayo players right now, but bayo cannot carry you to top 20 pgr. Light would’ve been top 30 if the Smash Summit has counted, and that was because of fox. Some people just learn fast
Its a combo of gamesense + bayo. Lima & mistake both have a good understanding of the game, and a better understanding of bayo, and together it got them pgrd
