If Salem played a top tier he would do just as well, it’s stupid to think otherwise. Bayo mains aren’t carried and no, she doesn’t allow people to do better without a good knowledge of the game or there would be more good mid level bayos. And there aren’t.
If bayo was banned (which i dont agree with, using as a hypothetical) and salem mained cloud, zss, diddy, or sheik, he wouldn’t be #2. He wouldnt be top 10. He would still be prob be pgr’d, but bayo makes great players better undeniably.
I actually disagree. If you or I mained bayo for a year while remaining at our current skill level, we wouldn’t get PR. It’s safe to assume that this remains the case at top level, most likely to a more extreme extent because of the higher skill of the average player.
You cant say thats the case for top level play, because top players have much better knowledge of the game than we do. We sure as shit wouldnt be pr’d, but there have been players that werent on the pgr, then next season theyre top 20.
