Toon Link is that one character that people will say is Top 20 JUST for legacy effect. He hasnt done anything in 1.5 years but he is always ranked higher than more relevant characters on tier lists.
I mean, the only prominent toon link player was hyuga, and hes banned from just about everything. Hes still leagues higher than other TL mains, and when he was here he placed pretty well.

yes, "when". a year and a half ago. to place toon link at such a high regard is to invalidate the strides of every other character imo.

Its not like the character has gotten worse. Its just that there arent a lot of toon link reps. If hyuga was allowed to play in the states he would definitely be doing the same as before.
