I think my expectations were too high, because after finally finishing Avatar it was just... Good. It had a good story, good characters, & INCREDIBLE animation. But, I feel like cartoons made now simply blow it away. Curious of other's opinions who didn't grow up with the show?

I can't vibe with most modern cartoons. I think exploring finding a way around violence when the universe is literally calling for your conviction to murder a human is cool. I have yet to watch a kids cartoon that explores a concept that carries the same weight (To me personally)

I loved the final message but hated how they got there. Aang not needing to push through any form of final struggle due to one of the worst deus ex machina I've seen REALLY soured how much I loved what they wanted to do.
