Making a competitive game easier doesn’t *usually* attract more people in the long run

i know so many people who want to get into p+ that are physically turned off to the fact that auto L cancelling is off for tournaments when the option to have it on is there the difference between melee and p+ is that the option for auto LC is THERE, why not use it

The option for turbo mode is there too... and items... I dunno I just think the tangible progress of learning to L cancel can do wonders, and have done wonders for the people who are already well into the scene. I don’t think Project melee should become project ultimate

People have been trying to learn it for years and a lot of people gave up because it’s too technically demanding, changing l cancelling isn’t super gamechanging, it removes 1 unnecessary barrier to make the game more accessible.

People have not been trying to learn L cancelling for years and have given up it takes like 30 minutes a day for like a week and it’s literally like riding a bike
