if a tournament is charging 10$ and it doesn’t count for state pr then why even do it

Because, many college students don't care about PR and simply want to get better and maybe have a shot at making money. I'm fucking tired of you slandering my tournament with faulty logic. If you don't want to go: DONT. But leave me and my college out of it

Wait, if there's money on the line, why doesn't it count for PR? Do you use an alternate ruleset?

Hero is banned and we run tDSR instead of mDSR

what i don’t understand is the end goal. PGRstats / the T.O.s are not planning a unified ban against hero any time soon, so it’s obviously going to be a hinderance to anyone playin under these specific rules because you aren’t experiencing the rules at legit tournaments

The end goal is the listen to our community. They voted for a hero ban until the menu was made universally accessible. That has not happened so he will remain banned

And, anyone who is seriously trying to make PR will be attending more than just BU tournaments so our 2 tournaments a year will not effect their PR chances or limit their practice in the MU

the only BUbimonthly that has counted for PR in ultimate had myself, Raffi, DM, mattheus, Capt. Q, Ntarps, ubi, and so on for notable entrants. Since the ban bu bimonthly has not met those same PR talent since which in turn overall gets less attendance from top talent and others

like, you’re charging people to enter this tournament which qualifies it for bracket but only those in payout benefit from it. At least in a legit setting people have the chance to earn wins even if they go 1-2
