i’m gonna say it bowser loses to sonic

you can’t really approach on sonic, OR whiff punish. Sonic doing spindash jump goes too far to punish with fair or bair (most of the time theyre doing it from the front anyway, so you cant fair), offstage you can only mixup early on, but if sonic waits he can react or just
two frame with fsmash, in neutral you have to stand in place and wait for a bad option which good sonics aren’t gonna do, and bowser just eats combos for free and can fairly reliably due to being edgeguarded 10 different ways. only things bowser holds above is survivability

And kill power. You can’t edgeguard sonic, you can’t whiff punish sonic, and you can’t outspeed in neutral

Walking is incredibly powerful against Sonic. You'll squeeze him out and he'll have to do something eventually. Like yeah he'll punish your whiffs but which character won't? Lots of characters also have great 2 frame options that can hit Bowser.
