Extraordinarily talented, and hes a phenomenal singer, which is why i still love patd, but with pftw, and the 2 songs hes released since then: the greatest show (from the musical The Greatest Show) and Into The Unknown (Frozen 2), we’ve essentially gotten a taste of what

The basic gist of how future patd will be, which is mainstream pop, with a slight flair for theatrics. patd has a history with musical / theatrical themes in the past: all of Fever including themes of burlesques and Vices & Virtues being very steampunk and almost like a

baroque pop feel. vices was very reminiscent of fever for a lot of people, which people liked going into too weird, doab, and pftw, it still carries themes of baroque pop, but more leaning towards more theatric music. Doab was mainstream BUT mixed with sort of jazzy

frank sinatra-esque influence, ie the title track, and a lot of songs including brass instruments like the trumpet and saxophone but anyway, the point i’m getting at is: into the unknown and the greatest show, which came out AFTER pftw, is PROOF that patd can still

Patd theatric / baroque pop roots? Absolutely not. will it be mainstream pop trash? probably. But one can hope that we get more “Into The Unknown’s” and less “Silver Linings.” thank you for coming to my ted talk
