That doesn't count for seeding. Also, I'm sure you of all people know how inconsistent your friend can be at locals. Not saying you should be underseeded, and I understand your struggle, but "almost wins" are still losses.

You do realize that recently I’ve only done poorly when I went unseeded. I’ve been seeded fairly at GU and I’ve been doing well. But at TNF I’ve been going through the gauntlet unreasonably early in bracket. It’s fucking bullshit.

While I sympathize, other than fighting someone harder in Winners, Once you hit losers, you should theoretically be playing against people who are "seesed above you" but arent "really" above you, per your standards. When DM and Laid get upset, I see them claw back to their seed

NE is exceptionally talented. Ive lost to people double my seed & beat those with half of it. Some of my best runs, my best wins, were from marathoning the gauntlet of a low seed. Want more wins for a better seed? Abuse the fact youll play good people more often & beat then.

I find it easier to work my way up to the good players rather than being their round 1

My guy it’s very hard to seed tournaments where there are like 40 players who can make similar runs as you do.

Is it a coincidence that I’m the unseeded one every TNF? Probably not
