a lot of people see it from the perspective of wrestling, with face/heel. In all honesty, leffen makes an AMAZING heel in a scene where there really aren’t many. leo, marss, tweek, and samsora are all nice and are the top 4, it makes sense for someone like leffen to come in

In melee hbox is the biggest villain bc he wins everything and plays a character people hate, it brings in crowds not to defend leffen, because hes absolutely awful, but people looking from the outside eat it up

I would rather see leffen create his status more through his skill than his personality. Every melee tourney is "I wonder if ___ can beat hbox" But every ult tourney I legit just wait for leffen to lose before top 8 lol theres no question on if he wins an event because he cant

I disagree with people who see it like wrestling because those people are pretty respectable and humble outside of their personas. Leffen whining about smash isnt a persona, hes just mentally weak after losses and uses Twitter like a vent journal and it makes him look bad to me
