For stage picking, I'd take it up with the venue and TOs to have rules in place that alt bf/fd stages have to be agreed on. Some already do and the ones that don't would likely update their rulesets given the explanation. If he's not breaking an actual rule, he's not cheating.

Can’t blame a guy for using all the tools given to him to win. The colorblind thing is messed up but if it was in the rules then that’s how it is. Also looking at controllers isn’t an uncommon practice, especially in melee. when he’s looking away from the screen you can swing.

he's doing it in advantageous positions where looking at the screen doesn't matter. looking at the screen does two things: inform you of where you are and where your opponent is. If he knows exactly where you both are in say, a tech chase, he doesnt need to look at the screen

if he opts to go to battlefield/fd, he will 100% do it, and before the shine ruleset he would go to those bc tnf ruleset didn’t enforce the colorblind rule the big one was aelkrie, where hes legitimately colorblind and physically can’t see on dark stages.

I feel like it should be easy enough to hide ur controller under the table? I though listening to ur opponents inputs / looking at their controllers was already something people have been doing for a while.
