Optimal damage from a legal stage would be on town top plats onto the stage itself, or bf top plat onto the stage. not sure if the kbg is changed or not but i assume that going from top to bottom is also optimal kbg
fun fact of the day: Bowser’s flying slam does more damage based on the distance he goes. So from a normal flat stage, it will do 22.5%. It decreases to 21.6% when done onto a platform. The highest amount of damage it can do is 28%.

I also found doing a jump side b oos off from a platform slightly increases the height as well, which would probably maximaze the damage on a legal stage
