Any reason on PT being easier than Squirtle? Is it cuz Squirtle cant kill, so he has to tag team out eventually? No comment on the MU itself, just curious on that detail

he has easy combos and frame data on bowser, as well as okay edgeguarding, but the fact that he has switch for escaping death at low %/clean up crew with ivy/zard makes him harder to combat. If i was to change it i’d probably add him to even but i’m also okay wth it slight disadv

Why wouldnt PT be at disadvantage for Bowser then? What makes solo Squirtle harder than Squirtle being allowed to switch for those above points?

i guess pt could be slight disadv, but at the same time the biggest points for squirtle come from being able to have closure from switch, not being solo, same as the others. Solo squirtle could do just as well if without switch, but is just better with it solo pokemon are weird

I agree. Usually, when ranking PT MUs, I think ranking the Trainer as a whole next to the hardest MU is best cuz at an optimal level, the PT would be focusing or even soloing the one that does the best

Pt is in a weird spot where its in between even and slight disadv, just comes down to pt usage. If you rely on one to do all the work you get fucked
