you've seen my backpack. its the only thing i have and it can carry a good amount of items i need: water, console, controllers, clothes

Not to mention most, if not everyone who's competing this weekend is staying at the hotel. They're not enforcing bag checks for suitcases, etc., they're only enforcing them for the venue (GOOD) I never needed a bag for SNS4, I just carried my controller and that was it.
