I really hope that Nintendo makes some actual changes to the top half of the cast in Ultimate at some point I don’t mind fighting most of them but some are just extremely overtuned to the point of being nonsense

snake is super bad vs air camping/platform camping, and the only reason i do remotely well vs snake. his only option for hitting you in the air is uair but its not safe and loses to disjoints. trying to challenge or even shielding any explosives is useless so your best bet

is just jumping and avoiding it altogether. His worst state is approaching you, its pretty linear so if you know what hes gonna do as an approach learn to punish them. next, offstage is super vulnerable. When he upbs low, dont just run off aerial, try to follow his drift and

space so that if he airdodges your moves can last through and chep him. Most of the time if they recover low theyll upb then airdodge to ledge, which is really good, but if possible, go for cypher instead and break it, they cant upb again and forces a c4 recovery.

ledgetrapping snake is super important because his options are ass and a lot of times will aim to recovery high, and when he does, your best option is ducking under platforms on the other side of the stage, so grenades cant hit you, but c4 still will, which is why i saw opposite
