hi! as the ct rep in winners side top 8, i’d love it if you’d stop trying to create pointless state rivalries. they’re counterproductive. celebrate the players and their runs, not which state they’re from, especially considering we’re all new england. we’re one region, not six!https://twitter.com/ExciIed/status/1117965220402597888 …

^This Rivalries push people to be better, to grow stronger. MA kicked butt last night? Good, return the favor and show us what your state can do. This is not tearing each other down, this is preventing complacency.

personally, i feel like i’m harmed by rivalry more than helped. i don’t handle confrontation well. i think it’s better to celebrate player accomplishments and build each other up as a region rather than promote the whole “haha i’m better than you” thing.

new england being the “under the radar” region that it is, with the exceptions of light and marss, will be harmed more than it’ll be helped by rivalry imo. i feel like okami worded it well.

i understand that the bigger picture the instate rivalries mean nothing, but in the same picture, all beef is put aside when our players go out and/or do well. i see all of ne come together for light, marss, or players that make upsets on oor. we all unite in the bigger picture

Strong agree on this one. It’s not a rivalry in a malicious way for most people, it’s one in a competitive pushing kinda way. Of course not everyone sees things the same way, but you best believe it pushes players in every state to be as good as players in other states
