hey when smash ultimate comes out can we please agree to be more assertive as T.O’s and community leaders when it comes to dealing with salt/rage? with ultimate on the horizon many more people will be looking to join the scene and i know firsthand what it’s like joining the scene
i totally understand that, and an example that reminds me of is the wizzrobe stalling situation. everyone wants to do something about it, but no one wants to be “that guy”, bite the bullet & actually ban him. but with rage its easier to be like “yeah theres no excuse for this”

Raging and being an overall toxic shithead are definitely grounds for a ban, at the very least a temporary one. But many view their fellow players as family, and will stick by them no matter what.

i dont think a permaban is the way to go on the first offense, or even the 2nd. I’ve only seen permabans on criminal-level offenses like hyuga, jk (which then was unbanned :^],) and bloodcross. I don’t think permaban is necessary unless they really just refuse to change
