Finally! I've been pushing for the 15-card WR since 2019, and this is a very satisfying result. Started with 2 dragons, 3 thunders, Invigoration and Dark Hole (of course). Great campaign drops, no farm duels.

This category has THE MOST satisfying ending to any speedrun I've ever felt. Ending Red on 1-7 HP is insane and I couldn't be more happy to have gotten World Record. Can't wait to do a glitched run of this one!

I am probably going to do a comprehensive Nidoran vs. Squirtle analysis in the coming weeks. Getting low times with a new route despite playing poorly is usually a sign that the route is faster than it looks.

This was comfortable 1:47 IGT pace (!!!) until I died to the Bulbasaur in Rock Tunnel. Absolutely unreal luck (3 moon encounters). Squirtle has potential, but I don't expect to see this early game again.

This is one of the most surprising WRs I've gotten. Manipless Squirtle route for Red/Blue (which was considered fastest before Nidoran). Beat a 7-year-old record with my first run. 1:54 IGT. Sub-1:50 appears to be possible!
