2/ We live in a small town. There were a few trans people there, & the rest were all well-meaning liberals. The woman organizing the event is someone who educates medical professionals on transgender issues. She was fascinated & receptive to what we had to say.

3/ It feels really good to go in prepared for the worst & have an interesting, lively conversation, able to speak your truth. The organizer also said she would hand extra of our handouts out at the next time she’s showing the documentary at the local UU church.
