Am I the only one who actually LIKES @TeamYouTube's decision to (re)raise the #PartnerProgram requirements to 1,000 subs / 4,000 hours?
#BackInMyDay you needed to be INVITED. Being partnered was sometihng you EARNED. It meant something! Twitch is the same way!
It doesn’t address any of the issues that NEED to be solved, but I don’t think it’s a bad move really. If you’re someone who consistently creates content to a decent audience, this is a non-issue imo. It’s about a 5min video a week with 1,000 views.
