When the @FBI investigates a campaign whose own advisor bragged about having private talks with a foreign adversary regarding its attacks on our democracy, it's doing exactly what it's supposed to do to protect the nation. There's nothing political or inappropriate about it.
All law enforcement investigations require informants and/or court-approved collection of electronic communications and other evidence. Trump and his allies deceive the American people when claiming that these methods are unusual or inappropriate in this case. They are not.
