Sometimes I hang my head and wonder ... if we had to become a dictatorship ... couldn't we have at least voted for a competent one? But then I remember this was Putin's choice and I wonder incredulously how people could betray their country like this.

It’s terribly sad isn’t it? I just retired and am disheartened that this is how I’ll spend my end years, watching our counyry destroyed from the inside out. Sad.

The ballot box is the difference. Come Nov, voters will elect a Congress that will act as a co-equal branch of government, and finally hold
@POTUS accountable.#VoteThemOut#VoteBlue -
Putin has paid no price for 2016 - he will interfere again in Nov. We can expect GOP efforts at voter suppression to reach new heights, with long lines & manufactured confusion in Dem areas. The election is our best hope to prevent autocracy, but the GOP will try shenanigans.

Per the Constitution, the answer is: Congress. By refusing to conduct oversight of a corrupt administration, Senator McConnell (
@SenateMajLdr) and Speaker Paul Ryan (@SpeakerRyan) have made it clear that the@GOP is not fit to govern.#VoteThemOut#BlueWave - End of conversation
