Trump is the antithesis of this. He sets an aspiration of divisiveness, speaks not the language of empathy (he has no comprehension of what empathy means), and does everything in his power to drive us apart and our nation into ruin.

You are right on.. I am sick that we will leave our children this mess. I have heard Evan McMullin speak on programs like Morning Joe, and I find him extremely Impressive. We need people like him. .

I've noticed a growing trend of people defending the awful things they say or do, not by explaining why but instead by saying people on the opposite end of the spectrum are just as bad. They're basically saying, "Yeah, I'm bad, but so is everyone else. So why should I stop?"
