  Oif you can't participate in the one actuvity that defines citizenship, how do you rejoin your community. Another reason why the woman who voted while on probation shouldn't have been sentenced to 5 years in prison for the mistake.

  The prohibitions against felons voting is suppression plain and simple. This weekend I watched @Oprah’s @60Minutes spot about lynching... a reveled spectacle in its day. Without doubt those who lynched did so without fear of losing the right to vote.
