Also there are enough voters and politicians who believe God put these people in power to do exactly what they're doing, that it insulates these guys from any Trump news - no matter how egregious - distracting them from their laser-focused mission to disrupt/dismantle/demoralize.

Sadly, McConnell and Ryan have given no reason to be hopeful. "Party over country" taken to an obscene level. Don't see any much needed change coming unless the November election does it.....far from certain. My two cents.
